Here you will find all the information that is important for your training at this location.
Arrival
Public Transport
The easiest way to get there is by tram line 16 and line 17, the stop is St. Emmeram. The tram stop is marked on the map. Alternatively, some buses also go there.
Bicycle
The tennis court is somewhat remote, so it can be a bit far. Bicycle racks are available.
Parking
There are plenty of free parking spaces available on site.
Location
The tennis court is located in the northeast of Munich.
Equipment
Changing room
The changing rooms are located in the basement of the clubhouse next to the parking lot.
Shower
A shower facility is available on site, but it is not very well maintained.
Toilet
Toilets are available, but they are not very well maintained.
Gastronomy
There are no shopping facilities on site.
Lockers
On-site, there is no possibility to store personal belongings in a locker.
Courts
Court type
Training happens on clay courts at Cosima.
Training Conditions
We only train here in winter and the hall is heated. However, the path from the changing room to the hall is outside.
Shoes
It is best to wear tennis shoes for clay courts or regular sports shoes that do not mind getting dirty with sand (please do not wear street shoes on the court).
Access
The entrance to the hall is located behind the clubhouse, on the side of the air dome.
Meeting point
We meet between Court 1 and Court 2 by the nets.
General
Entering the court
When you arrive at the location, please enter the court not earlier than five minutes before the start of your training to avoid disturbing ongoing training sessions.
Cleanliness
Please do not enter the clubhouse or changing rooms with sandy tennis shoes to keep it pleasant and clean for everyone.
Equipment
Bring your tennis racket, suitable shoes, sports clothing, and possibly a towel.
Don't forget anything
Remember not to forget any personal belongings in the changing rooms or in the showers.
Heat
In summer, especially during the midday heat, a head covering and sunscreen should be worn to protect yourself from the sun.
Drink
Having something to drink is always important, especially when it gets hot in summer.
Racket Rental
If you don't have your own tennis racket yet, we usually have some on site that we can lend you free for your first attempts.
